Police detained two Ahmadis Mian Mohammad Joya and Mr. Nasrullah Khan Mulhi, at Chobara, District Leyyah for refusing to demolish the niche of Ahmadiyya Mosque. They were released after 30 hours without any charge.

Police undertook the shameful sacrilege and demolished the niche of the Ahmadiyya Mosque at Chobara, District Leyyah. One Ahmadi was arrested and detained at the police station for the whole day.

Police desecrates and removes Kalima Tayyeba* from Ahmadiyya Mosque at Chur Mughlian, Distt: Sheikhupura.

Mr. Inamulla Gondal, an Ahmadi, was sentenced to two years imprisonment and Rs.5,000 fine under section 298C PPC at Kotri, Sindh, for writing Kalima Tayyeba at his house. The case was registered in 1991.

Mr. Ejaz Ahmad, Ahmadi, was sentenced two years imprisonment and Rs.5,000 fine under section 298C PPC at Kotri, Sindh. The case was registered in 1992. Mr. Ejaz, aged 73 was arrested from Ahmadiyya Mosque while waiting for Friday Prayers.

Four Ahmadis Abdul Majeed, Shaukat Ali, Anwar Ahmad and the local Ahmadi religious teacher, were implicated, two ( Mr. Abdul Majeed and Mr. Shaukat Ali) arrested at Chak 93/TDA, District Leyyah, under sections PPC 295A, cognizable under the notorious Anti-terrorism Act, PPC 295B, and PPC 298B for having a minaret and niche in the Ahmadiyya Mosque.

Ejaz Ahmad Basraa and his 16 years old son Shahjahan were martyred near Ghatialian district Sialkot. Mr. Ejaz was actively following up the court trial of terrorists involved in massacre of Ahmadis. He had received threats on last hearing of the case.

An Ahmadi Tariq Mahmood was arrested under anti-Ahmadiyya laws for receiving a package containing Ahmadiyya books.

Four Ahmadis were sentenced to four years’ imprisonment and fine, on four counts, by Anti-Terrorist court in connection with Takht Hazara riots. Five Ahmadis lost their lives in the incident. Mullah Athar Shah, the agent-provocateur, was allowed to walk away a free man.

An Ahmadi youth Naeem Ahmad was martyred in Goleki district Gujrat. His body was dumped in the farm of another Ahmadi.

Mr. Laiq Ahmad was awarded two years’ imprisonment and Rs.20,000 fine by Anti-Terrorist Court at Sargodha for displaying Kalima Tayyeba at his shop.

Two Ahmadis, Nazir Ahmad and Allah Rakhio belonging to Naukot were sentenced to 118 years imprisonment and Rs.40,000 fine each under the Blasphemy Law, anti-terrorism law and other clauses related to religion. (Case Details)
