PRESS RELEASE
AHMADI CHILDREN FINALLY RELEASED
Further to the Press Release issued on 7th July 2009.
The five Ahmadis arrested on 28th January 2009 in District Layyah, Pakistan, have today finally been released on bail.
Following a decision of the Multan High Court they were due to be released no later than 9th July 2009. However due to totally unnecessary delays the five Ahmadis, who include four minors, were kept in jail over the weekend.
As stipulated in the aforementioned Press Release, despite bail being granted, none of the charges have been withdrawn and this continues to be of great concern.
