Case filed against Khatme Nabuat leaders

SATKHIRA, Apr 23: District administration banned gatherings or meetings on holidays at Jatindranagar under Shymnagar upazila from Saturday, reports BSS.

The decision was taken at a meeting attended by leaders and activists of International Khatme Nabuat Movement (IKNM) and Ahmadiyyas on Sundarban Bazar premises under Shymnagar upazila on Friday. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Solaiman Mondal chaired the meeting. Deputy Commissioner Md. Elias and police super Abdur Rahim were present.

Both the groups at the meeting agreed not to hold any gatherings in the area. Following the decision, the ban on holding meetings and gatherings was announced through loud speaker.

Meanwhile, a case was filed against six leaders and activists of IKNM including central Ameer Mohammad Muntazir Ahmed and Nayebe Ameer Nur Hossain Nurani with Shymnagar thana police. One Ahmadiyya leader Wahidur Rahman filed the case.
